TRIBAL MEMBER

FISH & WILDLIFE DIVISION

 

 

 > Tribal members 15 years of age or less, those 55 years and older and active duty veterans are not required to purchase a fishing license.

 

> Elderly subsistence licenses are available on a free gratis basis at the OSPRA office in Kyle ONLY.  The ranger staff will facilitate elders requiring assistance in obtaining proper licensing.

> Non-Tribal Member Resident is defined as a person who has resided on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation for a minimum of one year. Big-Game licenses are available at the OSPRA office in Kyle.  Game range personnel and others involved in guiding hunters may facilitate the licensing process for their clients.

> Non-Tribal members are required to have a Tribal guide with them at all times when hunting on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.

 

Oglala Sioux Parks & Recreation Authority reserves the right to change or close seasons and/or units at any time, including harvest limits, as appropriate for the protection of Tribal resources.
